Music is usually a form of expression. Transmutations begins somewhere else — it asks how sound can transform emotion.
Tension and release, joy and melancholy are not opposites but points on one continuum. Through clarinet, voice, electronics and sounds gathered from the natural world, the set opens a space where perception shifts and emotions move.
